The general tours are available Thursday - Friday 11am till 3pm; Saturday-Sunday 11am till 3:30pm. Tours are also available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday by reservation only. Educational tours are available any day of the week. For an eye-to-eye experience, schedule the Siberian VIP Tour, which includes a visit to the photography platform and the living classroom. Educational Tours:
- Our Educational Tours can be customized to your group's specific needs, including Powerpoint presentations, interactive take-home activities, access to our observation deck, Junior scientist activity notebook.
- Cost varies according to the number and structure of your group. Prices range from $10-$15 per student.
- Crown Ridge can accommodate any size group, young or old. There are no age restrictions. All activities are specified for each group's age range.
- Having lunch on our beautiful grounds is encouraged. We provide picnic tables and can provide a healthy lunch for an additional fee.
- A new classroom addition allows us to have extended space for groups including new restrooms and a gift shop.
- Plenty of photo opportunities available.
- Educational Tours are not limited to school groups. We welcome all service groups and/or organizations.
- Reservations must be made in advance. Call early as spaces fill up quickly.
Feeding Tours:
New for 2011, Tiger Feeding Tours. These special feeding tours include a walking tour of the sanctuary, access to the observation deck, assisting in the preparation of the tiger’s diets, participate in feeding the cats, and exclusive behind the scenes look at our new outdoor holding area. Feeding Tours are $35 per person, maximum of 10 people per tour, must make reservations- spaces fill up quickly. Check out our calendar for our scheduled feeding tours which take place once a month.
Tiger Tour Luncheon
12-2pm. Enjoy a catered lunch from Tiger Ridge Restaurant. Guests will enjoy lunch on our observation deck overlooking our 5 tigers and lioness. In case of inclement weather, guests will dine indoors. You will take a personal guided one hour tour of the sanctuary with a tiger caretaker. You can also visit our education center where we have pictures, artifacts, and behind the scenes footage. Reservations required, please call ahead. This tour costs $40 per person.
