At Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary we have enclosed a hillside with a custom-designed caging system to provide the healthiest and safest possible environment for our six-year-old girls Thor and Gracie, their parents Mohan and Raja, three-year-old Alexis, our African lioness, and Izzy, a two-year-old Siberian mix tiger.
It’s a place for them to do what comes naturally – from taking a dip in one of their pools, searching for food hidden throughout their yards, or soaking in the sun from various platforms. Here on the hillside they have room to run, pounce, and take full advantage of being surrounded by natural landscape.
Our animals were all rescued from unfortunate circumstances where their quality of life was being severely compromised. We have established Crown Ridge as a permanent home for these exotic cats as part of our larger commitment to conservation and wildlife preservation. Through both on and off-site presentations, tours, youth programs, and our website, we seek to educate people on the importance of habitat conservation and wildlife preservation. Tigers are an extremely endangered species and we must all work together to preserve this amazing and unique animal.
